Hello, my name is Aydan Kirk and I am a games programming student at Staffordshire University.

I am passionate about making games and have been since I was 13. I was first introduced to coding in high school ICT lessons where I would go on to take computer science in both my GCSEs and A-Levels. From then on, I continued to teach myself the do's and don'ts of making a game with each game I made being an improvement to the last. 

​

When it comes to games, I really enjoy the marriage between creativity and logic that is necessary to develop a game. The concept that anything you can think of can be made a reality through a few lines of code is simply amazing. In addition, the problem solving aspects of creating a game is rewarding, in that moment when you finally get your program to work!

Moving forward, I hope to gain more experience in developing games by working with others and learning new things that I can use to make my next game just that bit better.
